Sourp Komidas Vartabed

"There in 1869 September 26, the adorable idol of the Armenian music, Komidas Vartabed (Soghomon by christening) after he spent his active and lively childhood period playing and singing under Koudina's magnificient atmosphere, in 1881 leaves for Etchmiadzin. From the following cards he sent from Etchmiadzin, on two of them that he has written, the first was dedicated to his mother Zmroukht with unforgetable filial love."

Notes:

B - Marig and Hagop Karakashian's children Mkrdich the eldest, Karabed and Zmroukht, were born and christened at the St. Teotoros Church in Koudina (Kotahia).
